The building is located in the Acquasanta area, near the historic core of Marola, immediately behind the military road of the Castellana which leads to the General Cascino battery and the Campiglia village.

The building is part of the structures supposedly built between 1880 and 1890 which, although located outside the walls of the Arsenale, belonged to the naval base.

It has a rectangular planimetric structure with perimeter structures in stone masonry plastered to the rustic and a gabled roof presumably supported by a wooden truss structure; the building is characterised by the presence of two large circular openings in correspondence of the tympanums that surmount the headboard walls. The construction presents the language of military architecture of the end of the 19th century with a decorative apparatus consisting of mouldings of simple section in correspondence with the cornice of the crowning and of the brick frames that emphasize the openings.

The perimeter wall has, in correspondence with two of the four corners of the building and in opposite position, a circular course forming two protruding volumes which presumably have the function of controlling the side of the building.

The boundary wall on the side facing the street, is equipped with a profile in stone material with a circular section that delimits the base part of the facade from that in elevation.
