The office is located on the second and top floors of a building located in the central piazza del Portello, in the neighbourhoods of via Garibaldi. The building faces a main roadway, which connects piazza della Nunziata on the west side and piazza Corvetto on the east side through two tunnels. In the neighbourhoods there are important palaces, which are the headquarters of public and private institutions.

The main entrance of the building is scarcely visible but is very popular as it is located next to the lift which goes to Spianata del Castelletto. The whole building is a property of the municipality, on the first floor the spaces are rent out and host a dental clinic and a hair salon.

The building has no lift (and it is extremely difficult to hypothesize a location). The office faces the south and west side of the square and the other fronts are blind (basements).

Despite its abandon state since 2005, the building is in a good condition both on the interiors and on the facades.
